What is the Million Dollar Challenge?

The Million Dollar Challenge is the result of a partnership between The Bank of Princeton and Princeton University Athletics, and will take place during Princeton's football, basketball, hockey, and lacrosse seasons. Join us by registering as a contestant, either online or at The Bank of Princeton's tent at select home games.

 

Please register below for the Million Dollar Challenge. Finalists will be selected via random drawing and notified prior to the final home game of each sport. Specify below which sport you are registering. If no sport is specified, registration will be for the sport ending soonest. Limit one entry per person per week.

The Sports:

 

Football: One lucky contestant will attempt a field goal kick from the 35-yard line. Finalists will be selected via random drawing and notified prior to the final home game against Dartmouth on Saturday, November 22, 2008. From the finalists, one contestant will be selected via random drawing to attempt the field goal kick. Online registration ends Thursday, November 20, 2008.

 

Basketball: One lucky contestant will attempt a basketball-related challenge to be announced later. Finalists will be selected via random drawing and notified prior to the final home game against Yale on Saturday, February 28, 2009. From the finalists, one contestant will be selected via random drawing to attempt the challenge. Online registration ends Thursday, February 26, 2009.

 

Hockey: One lucky contestant will attempt a hockey-related challenge to be announced later. Finalists will be selected via random drawing and notified prior to the final home game against Yale on Saturday, February 21, 2009. From the finalists, one contestant will be selected via random drawing to attempt the challenge. Online registration ends Thursday, November 19, 2009.

 

Lacrosse: One lucky contestant will attempt a lacrosse-related challenge to be announced later. Finalists will be selected via random drawing and notified prior to the final home game against Brown on Sunday, May 03, 2009. From the finalists, one contestant will be selected via random drawing to attempt the challenge. Online registration ends Thursday, April 23, 2009.

 

Current or former high school, college, professional players and coaches within the past five years of football, soccer, and rugby, basketball, hockey, or lacrosse will not be eligible. Contestants must be at least 16 years old to participate.
